The marvelous grey brick

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln. The bricks have a rough structure, irregular shape, and a strong resemblance to recovered bricks. The brick’s retro appearance is achieved by using a tumbling process.

The different types of sand used result in colours that vary from white to grey, alternated with light grey and dark grey shades, in which the white deposits are clearly present. The ageing process also influences the colour shades. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.

I would like to see some references of this brick, in my area.
