Belle Epoque de Marche

A facing brick with a timeless beauty

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln. The bricks have a rough structure, irregular shape, and a strong resemblance to recovered bricks.

The brick has an orange base, and the hues vary from orange to burgundy in combination with marlcoloured shades. The typical old aspect is the result of the wet and unbaked bricks’ treatment with various admixtures. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
