  • The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides.
  • The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed.
  • The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln.
  • The bricks have a rough structure, irregular shape, and a strong resemblance to recovered bricks.
  • The brick’s retro appearance is achieved by using a tumbling process.
Colour
  • The brick has a pink base, and the colour variations show variations of pink with light white and brown tones.
  • The ageing process also influences the colour shades.
  • The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
