Workplace accidents are still too often seen as ‘just part of the job’. But safety should never be an afterthought. It is a fundamental right — one we must uphold together.
In that context, we welcomed Lars Van Rode, whose personal story moved and inspired our production team leaders. His honest and open testimony showed just how far the impact of a workplace accident can reach — far beyond the person directly involved.
The talk was powerful, confrontational, yet also motivating. It reinforced why we at Nelissen continue to invest in safety: because every employee matters, and because prevention is always better than cure.
