Klampsteen Kesselt

The facing brick that draws the attention with its simplicity

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln.

The brick has a dark red base with hues varying from grey to red with white-yellow sediments. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.

I would like to see some references of this brick, in my area.
