Luce

Lights up your façade

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln.

The brick has a yellow base. The different sand colours that are used, result in alternated shades, from white to yellow, with light and dark grey shades, and a remarkable presence of white sand. The different structures are the result of sawdust on the one hand and white, fine-grained sand on the other. Through sintering of the brick, the different nuances of colour are obtained. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality
