Nelissen Bricks has sustainable ambitions for the future. To realize these plans, several (internal) changes have been made. The three CEOs are now supported by a management team. A new Sales Director for BeLux-France has joined the company, and a brand-new Marketing & Communication Manager has been added to the Nelissen family.
Nelissen continually focuses on innovation and development. In the future, Nelissen will increasingly emphasize sustainability—important challenges that require significant additional efforts. At the end of 2022, a key step was taken toward further professionalizing the family business’s structure with the establishment of a management team.
This team consists of the three CEOs (Burt Nelissen, Carlos Jorissen, and Joeri Gevers) supported by two new members of the management team. Kim Vandebosch, previously Sales Director BeLux-France, now serves as the Sales & Marketing Director. The role of Finance Director has been assigned to Betsy Lathouwers. The two new members assist the CEOs in steering the company.
Red thread for the future
“As a management team, we discuss the strategy and the future direction of the company. In a sense, we spin the red thread for the future,” explains Sales & Marketing Director Kim Vandebosch. “From this strategy, we formulate concrete operational objectives, which are further developed and implemented throughout our organization. Together, we are strong!” adds Finance Director Betsy Lathouwers.
Sales Director with over 25 years of experience at the company
With Kim’s position switch, Nelissen also sought a new Sales Director for BeLux-France. This role has been filled by former representative Jurgen Philtjens. “I’ve been working at Nelissen for more than 25 years now. I’m very happy to have career growth opportunities and to now take on the role of Sales Director for BeLux-France,” says Jurgen Philtjens.
Contributing to marketing and communication
One of the newest faces in the Nelissen family is Renate Nelis. Since February 20, she has been the new Marketing & Communication Manager at Nelissen. Renate has already gained significant expertise in her career at other Limburg-based family businesses, such as Concentra, Lambrechts, ASAP, and Glowi. She is enthusiastic about this new challenge. “Nelissen is a family business with warm values and a strong local foundation. They’re ambitious and are conquering the world from here, with the necessary focus on sustainability. It’s a story I’m eager to contribute to,” concludes Renate Nelis.
